Cookies Policy
Effective date: December 8, 2025
This Cookies Policy explains how Ellwood Bristol (“Ellwood Bristol”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the websites, web applications, and related services for Reactivid (the “Services”). Read this together with our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
Ellwood Bristol is based in Ontario, Canada. We provide this notice in a way that is intended to be compatible with global requirements (for example, Canada’s PIPEDA, EU/UK ePrivacy and GDPR/UK GDPR, and U.S. CCPA/CPRA), but your specific obligations may vary by jurisdiction.
2) Why We Use These Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies in connection with Reactivid to:
- Operate the Services: Authentication, maintaining logged-in sessions, routing, fraud prevention, load balancing, and security.
- Remember preferences: Theme (light/dark), language/locale, cookie consents, and UI preferences for the scripting, voiceover, storyboard, and export surfaces.
- Analyze performance: Understand how features are used (for example, which pipelines are most active) and improve reliability and usability.
- Communicate: Provide support, contact flows, and in-product status messages.
- Optional personalization: With consent where required, tailor certain views or messages (for example, showing relevant product updates). This is not required to use the core Services.
3) Cookie Categories We Use
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Consent Required? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | Core functionality (login sessions, routing, CSRF, security). | session_id, csrf_token, lb_route | No (cannot be disabled) |
| Preferences | Remember choices such as theme and locale. | theme (light/dark), locale | May require consent in some regions |
| Analytics | Measure usage in aggregate to improve stability and feature design. | Analytics SDK / browser tag | Yes (opt-in in EU/UK; opt-out elsewhere where applicable) |
| Performance | Diagnostics, crash reporting, and telemetry. | Telemetry / diagnostics tokens | Often consent-based in EU/UK |
| Support & Communication | Enable help widgets or in-product messaging. | Support widget/session cookies | Yes (varies by provider & region) |
| Advertising (if used) | Measure campaign performance and avoid repeatedly serving irrelevant ads. | Ad network tags / IDs | Yes (opt-in in EU/UK; opt-out / “Do Not Sell or Share” right under CPRA) |
5) Legal Bases & Regional Disclosures
- Canada (PIPEDA): We obtain meaningful consent for non-essential cookies, identify purposes, and limit collection to what is reasonably required.
- EU/UK (GDPR + ePrivacy): We obtain prior consent for non-essential cookies and allow withdrawal at any time, typically through a banner or settings panel.
- U.S. (CCPA/CPRA): We provide notice of categories used, honor opt-out of “sale”/“sharing” where applicable, and support rights described in our Privacy Policy.
6) Your Choices & Managing Cookies
You can manage cookies and similar technologies via:
- In-product controls: A cookie banner or settings panel (where shown) to accept, reject, or fine-tune categories beyond strictly necessary cookies.
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies via privacy controls (for example, “Settings → Privacy → Cookies”).
- Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control: We recognize legally required GPC signals where applicable, particularly in relation to “sale”/“sharing” under CPRA.
- Provider opt-outs: Some analytics or advertising providers offer their own add-ons or opt-out pages.
How to clear or block cookies (common browsers)
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari (macOS/iOS): Preferences/Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

7) Global Privacy Control (GPC) & Do Not Track
If we engage in activities that qualify as “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under CPRA, we will treat a valid GPC signal as an opt-out request for the browser that sends it. Where legally required, we will also configure analytics and advertising categories to respect such signals.
Traditional “Do Not Track” (DNT) browser signals are not yet consistently interpreted by industry. Where applicable law requires us to honor such signals, we will do so; otherwise, please use our in-product controls or browser settings.
8) Children & Teens
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly place non-essential cookies in connection with users we know to be under 13. Parents or guardians may contact us to request deletion of a child’s information or to inquire about our practices, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time (for example, when we add or remove vendors, technologies, or categories). If changes are material, we will provide appropriate notice (for example, via banner, in-product message, or email where appropriate) and update the effective date at the top of this page.
